Sulphur High Theatre Arts provides students with opportunities to create, perform, collaborate, and grow both onstage and behind the scenes.
Through Theatre Arts courses, productions, competitions, & our International Thespian Society troupe, students explore acting, musical theatre, technical theatre, directing, design, marketing, and more. Whether stepping onto the stage for the first time or preparing for a future in the performing arts, there is a place for every student in SHS Theatre!

Theatre Arts Courses
Theatre I • Theatre II • Theatre III • Theatre IV
Students develop skills in acting, improvisation, theatre history, directing, design, technical theatre, and live production while building confidence, creativity, communication, and collaboration.
International Thespian Society
Sulphur High School is proud to be home to International Thespian Society Troupe #12092. Students have opportunities to earn recognition for their work in theatre, participate in festivals and competitions, develop leadership skills, and become inducted members of the International Thespian Society.
