FBLA

Future Business Leaders of America

FBLA is open to all students, grades 10 - 12, who are presently enrolled in a business subject or who have completed a business class in previous years.  The purpose of the club is to strengthen the confidence of students in them and prepare them for work in the business world.  Meetings are after school each first Thursday.  The activities of the club include field trips, guest speakers, workshops, District Conference at McNeese, State Conference in Lafayette, a work day at local businesses, service projects, and socials.  Students may compete at both conferences, in various areas of business against peers from other schools in the state.  Successful competition could qualify students for competition at the national level.  FBLA is a local, state, and national organization.  A branch of this organization is also available at the college level.
