Cheerleaders

A panel ofjudges selects cheerleaders.  Contestants are judged on toe touches,Herkies, an optional jump, tumbling, motion technique, danced technique, spiritand projection, and personal appearance.  All candidates are required toperform a back handspring and a tumbling series.  Teacher recommendationsare a part of the final score. Cheerleaders consist of three squads: theFreshman squad, the Junior Varsity squad, and the Varsity squad.
