Employers, colleges and Universities now understand that exposure to computers
does not equal understanding computers. So now, more than ever, basic
computer and Internet skills are being considered prerequisites for employment
and higher education. This class will prepare you to take the IC3
certification test.
What is IC3
Certification?
IC3, or the Internet and Computing Core Certification Program, is a
global training and certification program providing proof to the world that you
are:
 | Equipped with the
needed computer skills to excel in a digital world. |
 | Capable of using a
broad range of computer technology - from basic hardware
and software, to operating systems, applications and the
Internet. |

Ready for what the work employers, colleges and universities want to throw
your way.

By passing the three
IC3 exams, you have initiated yourself into today's digital world.
You have also given yourself a globally accepted and validated credential that
provides the proof employers or higher education institutions need.

Your grade will be comprised of several different areas including
but not limited to: daily participation, group work, individual work,
creativity, efficiency, following directions both oral and written,
projects and tests.
