Student Council
Student Council is an organization formed for the purpose of student government. The goal of this organization is involvement of the student body and representation on the class level. Representatives are elected from each class and an executive council is made up of officers from each class council and five Student Council officers. SHS Student Council is a member of the District VI Student Council, Louisiana Association of Student Councils, Southern Association of Student Councils, and National Association of Student Councils. The SHS council meets the 1st & 3rd Monday of every month at 3:15 pm and the following Tuesday at 7:20 am in Mrs. Petross's room (3105).

“Show Your True Spirit” Wear as much blue & gold as you can 
with
school appropriate blue jeans
**** All ‘costumes’ MUST be school appropriate and abide by school dress code policies!!
