Meetings:
Every 1st. and 3rd. Wednesday mornings in Mrs. Billedeaux's room (3104 South Bldg.) at 7:15 a.m.
to discuss upcoming events, prayer needs, testimonies, or share a word from the bible.
Every Wednesday, students meet in the auditorium foyer during lunch to hear guest speakers, or
have bible study. The bible studies are led by students in either whole group or small group settings.
See You at the Pole:
Each September, students gather nationwide around the flagpole to praise and pray. S.T.A.R.S. students
gather together in the courtyard at 7:00 a.m. to participate in this event. The turnout has been awesome.
National Day of Prayer:
The first Thursday in May has been declared as National Day of Prayer. S.T.A.R.S. have a praise and
prayer rally in the courtyard beginning at 7:00 a.m. and lasting until the first bell for class.
Food Drive:
Each year, S.T.A.R.S participates in a food drive for Thanksgiving and Christmas. The food is
collected at school and delivered to Care Help of Sulphur for distribution.
Service Projects:
There is no mandatory service project with S.T.A.R.S. but we encourage our members to volunteer
their time at Care Help, local nursing homes, the Women's Shelter, or various other charitable
organizations.

None
Membership:
Open to all students interested in sharing God's Word. Anyone can join at any time of the year. All
they need to do is come to the meetings and bible studies.
Fellowship:
After school activities have included bonfire/scavenger hunts, lock-in's, bible studies at designated homes,
bible studies at the Sonshine Shop, and concerts.
