      The Sulphur High School Library Media Center offers a balanced collection of over 28,000 professionally-selected print and non-print materials on all levels to students and staff, enhanced with sculpture and art prints. The collection is electronically catalogued, allowing searching, circulation and management procedures via a Microsoft network of computers. All titles support the curriculum or the interests of the students. Every effort is made to keep materials current.

     Internet access is available to students on seventeen stations.  Students must have a signed Internet access use contract on file, and Internet use is limited to a direct link to the curriculum.  

     Equipment is available in the media center and loaned on a request basis to teachers. Videos and DVD's are selected and catalogued to serve every department in school. 

     Services to students and faculty/staff include an efficient circulation system, access to copying services, and free print-out of limited pages from products such as Gale Group Resources database, World Book On-line Encyclopedia, and other Internet sites. Librarians are available for assistance with research or reading guidance.
